StarMed Healthcare and Black Business Owners of Charlotte host Juneteenth Buy-Black Fest


StarMed Healthcare joined forces with Black Enterprise Homeowners of Charlotte (BBOC) on Sunday to host a Juneteenth Purchase-Black Fest in west Charlotte.

The family pageant provided a number of foodstuff vehicles, shops, desserts, music, and even a kids’ enjoyable zone.

The function is designed to create earnings for Black-owned organizations.

BBOC was launched in 2014 to empower current and long run business enterprise house owners with the sources they want to be productive and be capable to uplift the local community.

StarMed CEO Jim Estramonte said he was psyched to husband or wife with BBOC for the event.

“Our organization is honored to give again to the group that we serve. BBOC is helping improve nearby, Black-owned companies and has been instrumental in escalating awareness and the financial effect these gatherings deliver,” Estramonte claimed.

BBOC has hosted much more than 100 key occasions and drives around $9 million each year to Black-owned corporations in the group.

“BBOC has adopted a design that has resulted in sustained financial impression — listen to the demands of Black-owned enterprises and our neighborhood, associate with area stakeholders like StarMed Healthcare, and serve by building community-targeted systems, events, and initiatives,” claimed Cathay Dawkins, founder and govt director of BBOC.
